Chanel splurge

So i've literally spent a good year deciding whether to get this product or not... there has been sooo many hypes and raves about this product all over internet. Due to its price and availablity its not something i can just walk in and pick it up from a store.
without further ado let me show you what i've got... :)
Chanel - Soleil Tan De Chanel $66 at Myer
The unique texture of this product is what makes it unique. My skin is fair to light medium and this colour suits me as a contour and I can imagine it working for medium skin tones as a contour too. For darker skin tones use this as a make up base or to freshen up and add glow to skin.
Not shimmery but not super matte like a powder, just gives a gorgeous glow of radiance and is extremely natural and blend able.

The only cons so far is if you have a brush that sheds a lot it will eat like no tomorrow.
I have only tired it on once so i can't say too much but so far I'm loving the lightly tanned kiss on my cheeks, i find it works really well with a Mac 109 brush :)
For those of you are like me been holding off buying it, i'd say get it now cause its well worth the price you pay and it will last you for a long time.

Last december beauty box has finally arrived in my post today, so here it is :)
Ok to be honest I am a little disappointed with this month's box... small sample size apart from that full size Chapstick. The box it self came almost half empty!
Magnolia Handcraft snowflake pendant - (3/5)
As i mentioned before i am one big sucker for packaging! This adorable box has caught my attention for sure! Cute little festive pendant handcraft by Magnolia. For those of you don't know about Magnolia here's a description of who they are.
Specialising in Sterling silver, Magnolia strives to create a product as unique as each individual customer. Using 25 designers from around the world to ensure a range of inspirations and styles, pieces are handcrafted using 925 Sterling silver and semi-precious stones. Each distinctive piece becomes part of an ever-changing collection that sees no less than 500 jewellery designs hit stores every single month.
Taylor Swift Wonderstruck - (2/5)
As much as i like Taylor Swift and her songs however this perfume is just like any other celebrity perfume. Its sweet fruity young and very similar to Viva La Juicy IMO.
Scent is a floral with sparkling fruity tones on a wooden background. The top notes are raspberry, dewberry, green tea, freesia and apple blossom. The heart features sweet vanilla along with sun drenched honeysuckle and white hibiscus. Notes of golden amber, musk, sandalwood and peach are in the base.
ADORN Mineral Cosmetics -
Great pigmentation and a good colour pay off. I have swatched it with 2 different base. Top one with Urban Decay primer potion, middle no base at all and bottom with Mac Painterly paint pot.
Simply Organic Everyday Hair & Scalp wash/rinse - Simply Organic Everyday Hair & Scalp Wash is a daily use shampoo for all hair types that gently cleanses the hair and scalp.
Simply Organic Lip Balm - Simply Organic USDA Certified Organic Lip Balm is formulated with certified organic ingredients. It’s a brilliant lip treatment for healing dry, chapped lips. This is surprisingly moisturising and perfect for anyone who doesn't like fragrance or taste with their lip balms. *thumbs up*
Gatineau Vital Feeling Exfoliating Body Gel - Bamboo powder for exfoliation, beads of jojoba for gentle care, a melting gel to delight the senses. This exfoliating gel has a triple action. It cleanses, exfoliates and softens the skin. Skin texture is refined. Skin is perfectly smooth and soft and has gained a new vitality.
Thats that beauties :) be sure to come back check my Christmas haul later!
Have a lovely Christmas <3

Dec - BellaBox

As promised here's my December BellaBox review :)
4 Full size items! :D
Lets start with my Favourite!!
OZOTIC 530 (5/5) Full Size - Been a nail polish addict i felt in love with this colour instantly (glitter + duo chrome = perfect match) because i just had my nails done recently i could not swatch this colour for you guys however i did manage find a nice swatch from Nailsandnoms.com
Batiste Dry Shampoo Blush (5/5) Full Size - I LOVE this product! It is such a saver in moments when your roots become really oily and you don't have the time to wash you hair. What's even better is it smells great! However the only down side is because i have dark brown hair it leaves white patches (not pretty), takes awhile to massages into your hair without making it so obvious you are wearing dry shampoo.
Eylure Naturalites Intense Lashes #140 - This lash are both lengthy and full adding that va-va-oom to your natural lashes. these gorgeous lashes are made for day or night use while being easy to apply. I never really been a fan of fake eyelashes mainly because it takes me forever to put them on, I only wear them on special occasions. My favourite pair are Mac #20 & #7 lashes.
Savoir Faire Cosmetics Concealer (4/5) Full Size- I have felt in love with this brand since my first bellabox when they brought out the lipsticks (amazing packaging + smooth application) of cause I was so exited to try out other products from SF. This remind me of Laura Mercier Undercover Pot which has the same packaging as SF.
Elemis Pro-colleagen Quartz Lift Mask 3ml - Never used any Elemis products due to their prices its not something i can afford at this stage of my life, therefore i was so happy to see this in the box especially if it is Victoria Beckham favourite brand. According to the description of this product it claims to treat deep wrinkles, loss of firmness and lost of elasticity its definitely a good product to try for all the mums out there.
Sorry for the late Bellabox review I know most of you would already read it or got yours by now, but hey late is better than never :)
Until next time...

DEC - Glossybox
Tuesday, December 20, 2011
So a few month ago i've decided to join the clan of beauty box where you spend $15 per month to get a little box full of deluxe samples of various products at the comfort of your own home. Been a total beauty junkie of cause this idea sold me straight away therefore i have picked 3 companies to try out.
1. GlossyBox (which originally started in UK)
2. Bellabox
3. ILoveThisBox
4. LustHaveIt (which i no longer subscribe to them due to the lack quantity in sample size *they are tiny*)

- December GlossyBox -
This is the box for those of you haven't already seen it
When i opened this month's box i was so happy to see 3 full size samples!!! (candy cane for my hot chocolate :D)
Lets start with my favourite product - Sally Hansen Diamond Shine (5/5) . I have used this for years! mainly for base coat, i have tired a lot of different base coat this one does not make my nail go yucky yellow. For someone like me who changes their nail polish every week (well i try to sometimes i change once every few days) it works like wonder! This can not come any time better i have almost ran out of it.
Second FULL SIZE product - Bed Head Manipulator (4/5)- This is another product i have used for awhile. I use this after flat iron to give texture, although this doesn't harden as much its really remoldable (is this a word lol?) after a couple of hours. During summer i love to just run this through my hair for a beachy wave. However on the downside its messy! (then again you could always wash your hands).
Clinique Turnaround overnight radiance moisturiser - I have always been a fan of CLINIQUE Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (LOVE THIS STUFF DURING WINTER). Although this is not a full size but it is a fairly decent size you probably could get a few weeks use out of this.
John Frieda Finishing Creme - This claims to smooth out your fizzes, since my hair is fairly think i don't have problem with fizzes. Same again not full size but decent sample size this probably will last you month (gives to mum).
Gorgeous Cosmetics Lip Pencil - I'm not a big fan of lip pencils mainly i find them takes too long to apply (i don't have a steady hand ok). However this company's website has caught my attention! *im a big sucker for packaging or layouts* and thanks for Glossybox i have now discovered a new cosmetic company with quite a fair range of products I defiantly can't wait to try out more of their products.
(I will have swatches of this colour soon)
So this is it for December Glossybox & hope you like my first post! :) I will have December Bellabox up tomorrow stay tune ^^
